HELPING HAITI
A collection will be gathered at Masses Jan. 30/31 to support the earthquake recovery

efforts of Catholic Relief Services and Hands Together.  You can check their web sites

to learn more about what they are doing.  Both organizations have been involved in

Haitian development efforts for many years.

Below are links to reflections by Newman students -- now graduates -- who visited

Haiti in 2006.

In January 2006 five Newman students and Father Tom Lindner spent a week in Haiti.  This page offers highlights from their experience and general information about the current situation and needs in Haiti.
