Feeding the Hungry
Newman students serve dinner every week as part of our Salvation Army Meal Ministry.  An organizational meeting will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 17, or contact Kat Stratton, Newman's student social justice coordinator, if you want to assist with this ministry.

Pax Christi Peace Group
9 PM Monday, Newman Center
This student group pursues study, prayer and action related to matters of peace and justice.  Pax Christi is an international Catholic organization committed to the gospel's pursuit of peace.  The group meets at 9 p.m. Mondays at the Center.  To learn more about our  new Pax Christi group, contact Kat Stratton, our student social justice coordinator.  To learn more about the larger organization, go to Pax Christi's web site.

Busy Student Retreat: Feb. 1-5
No one is too busy for this retreat which includes prayer -- together and alone, supper every night, and meetings with someone who'll help you pray and talk about God and life.
