Salvation Army Meal Ministry
Students prepare, serve and eat dinner at Stevens Point’s Salvation Army on Tuesday nights. This ministry assists those in our community who are unable to provide for themselves. If you're interested in this ministry, please contact Alex Rausch, Newman's social justice coordinator.

WWJD Living Faith

The gospel isn't something we just talk about or study.  It has to be something we live.  At 8 p.m. Mondays, students gather to talk about living as followers of Jesus in the midst of real demands, pressures and temptations.  The goal is to what Jesus would do and, along the way, to learn more about our Catholic faith.  Meetings are at the Newman Center.  Contact Wendy Mitch, Newman's campus ministry director, for more information.

>> Mass this Weekend - 5 p.m. Saturday, 10:15 a.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Sunday
           St. Joseph Convent Chapel, 1300 Maria Drive, just west of Starbucks
         

>>  Late-Night Mass - 9 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 25, Newman Center
           Take a mid-week break for praise and worship. 

>> Rosary is prayed at Noon Friday in the Newman Center Chapel when UWSP is in session. 

>> 2012 Busy Student Retreat:  Feb. 5-9 on campus

>> 2012 Spring Break Service Experience in Kentucky:  March 17-24

           You could be among the students who spend a week working with Christian Appalachian Project
