Salvation Army Meal Ministry
Students prepare, serve and eat dinner at Stevens Point’s Salvation Army on Monday nights. This ministry assists those in our community who are unable to provide for themselves. An organizational meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday. If you can't attend but want to participate, please contact Leslie Gonia, Newman's social justice coordinator.

Pax Christi Student Social Justice Group

Living the gospel is at the heart of this group’s agenda. Members coordinate Fair Trade coffee sales and many other projects. Find out more at the first meeting: 9 p.m. Monday.

Spring Break
Christian service in Kentucky

For many year, Newman students have traveled to eastern Kentucky to offer service in one of the poorest regions of our country. Transportation is provided and our entire week -- work, recreation, food and lodging -- is provided by Christian Appalachian Project. Participants spend time getting to know the people of Appalachia, as well as students from around the country. You can learn more about Spring Break WorkFest at CAP's web site.
